Right now the Ag industry is experiencing some very exciting and profitable times. Dealers, for the most part, expect this to be a banner year - overtaking a good 2007 - and farmers are generally optimistic and willing to spend money. Manufacturers are seeing inventories being sold out well before they are produced. There are more buyers than equipment available. Even used equipment is expected to be in short supply. These are euphoric times for many Ag dealers. Margins are able to be maintained and, in some instances, improved. The biggest complaint from dealers is that they are unable to find all the machines they can sell. What a nice situation to be in!
