Acoustic Isotherms for Nitrogen, Argon, and Krypton

Measurements of the sound velocity in nitrogen, argon, and krypton, and the derived heat capacities, are reported for a pressure range up to 12 atm and at two temperatures: the ice point and 303.7deg;K. It is believed that the data for nitrogen are more consistent than those reported by other investigators, while comparison data for argon and krypton are practically nonexistent.
