A siphon device for fractionation of runoff samples

A device is described for the continuous fractionation and sampling of water collected in agricultural runoff experiments. The device, which acts on the siphon principle, discardsc, 95 of each volume aliquot collected and passes the remainder to storage for subsequent analyses.
