I am 64 years old. In 1967 I was 10 years old and was enamored with fireworks, the tread on the bottom of my tennis shoes, and all things motorized, especially mini-bikes. They were made for people my size. They had inflatable tires with tread. I mean real, gripping tread. They had a brake to slow down. They went faster than I could run and about as fast as I could get my bicycle going but they didn't get tired like I did. For my brain, they were technology at its finest. It was the mid-'60s; all the engineers that the Apollo moon program did not need were building mini-bikes. I'm sure of it.
