ONTARIO ENGINEERS WIN AWARDS FROM HOME AND ABROAD

University of Toronto (U of T) engineering professor Elizabeth Edwards, PhD, P.Eng., has been named an Officer of the Order of Canada-one of the country's most prestigious honours-as part of the second cohort of new appointees for 2020. Edwards is the Canada research chair in anaerobic biotechnology, principal investigator of the Biodegraders Research Group, director of the BioZone Centre for Applied Bioscience and Bioengineering and is cross-appointed with the department of cell and systems biology.
