With a purchase of Eberly's classic, mathematics-heavy 3D rendering book and a svelte redheaded mathematics PhD on call, in theory, all that stood between Tam and Game was a bit of coding and quietness from annoyance. Practical experience, sadly, turned out different. Eberly's classic overloaded yours truly with so much mathematical information that no 3D engine came out after about four weeks of frustration.
