HOUSTON (ICIS)--Prices in the US methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) market remained at lows not seen since 2009 on Friday under continued pressure from less expensive Asian material. The domestic price as assessed by ICIS held steady at 54-56 cents/lb ($1,190- 1,235/tonne), and the spot was flat at 52-55 cents/lb.
