Vidrala Group has announced the refurbishment and commissioning of one of its furnaces at its plant Gallo Vidrio located in Marinha Grande, Portugal. According to the company, the furnace uses the best available technology and is highly electrified, which is expected to reduce C02 emissions significantly. Additionally, the new furnace will increase the plant capacity by over 50, in order to meet market demand and ensure long-term supply.
