Air suspension kits are being used by operators of rough-riding work vehicles in the Bowen Basin to counter the impact of heavy loads and second-rate roads that abound in the area. The kits are drawn from an extensive range of Firestone Rite-Rite Air Helper spring kits from Queensland-based company Airbag Man, which engineers kits to suit light trucks, utes, vans and 4WD work vehicles fitted with conventional leaf-spring suspensions.
