The morning started with a discussion of brassica crop production and an overview of where Syngenta's comprehensive range of varieties fit into programmes. Technical sales representative Louis Stokes stressed, "We are not just here to sell seeds, we are a RD company and our breeders really want to work with growers." In doing so, the aim is to create varieties that are high yielding and which provide a return to growers by reliably producing quality crops year after year.
