As a long-time supplier of diamond standard interior glass, Consolidated Glass Corporation has been making larger transitions to stay competitive. It is currently being led by a fifth-generation president from the founding family, which began manufacturing jalousie doors and windows in 1967 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. In 1994, the company expanded significantly with the installation of its first tempering furnace to meet the needs of its store fixtures, high-end shower doors, and enclosures.
