Tap into water firms to prepare for dry periods

I was interested to read your article about the NFU's mock 2050 weather forecast (News, 16 July), highlighting the climate challenge for farmers and the NFU's caE for a "more collaborative approach to water involving both public and private sector partners".Severn Trent works in close collaboration with more than 5,000 farmers in the Midlands region through our Farming for Water programme, to enhance and protect water quality and the natural environment. An important part of this is ensuring a sufficient, resilient water supply for today, and in the future.
