UNUSUALLY quiet and under the radar all week long, Chip Ganassi Racing's Ford-Riley Daytona prototype (above), manned by regulars Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas, with Marino Franchitti's help, made its overall win at the 62nd Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring look easy. Well, easy aside from a couple of spins, mechanical gremlins, 11 caution flags and a red flag, a startlingly slick track, a new engine making only its second outing following a not-very-promising debut and traffic rivaling Monday morning Manhattan. The Ganassi car, with Franchitti behind the wheel, finished less than five seconds ahead of Ryan Dalziel, driving one of Extreme Speed Motor-sports' two Honda LMP2 cars.
