Rock abrasiveness has an important influence on bit wear in petroleum drilling formation.A set of test equipment for determination of rock abrasiveness was development,which could solve the problems of bit design and reasonable selection from the source.According to the test principle of rock abrasiveness,the function and structure of the test equipment were described in detail.The test equipment of rock abrasiveness mainly consists of rotating and pressuring component,disk pressurizing component,displacement measurement component,core clamping component,cooling and cleaning component,standard wear specimen and base component,which has dynamic rock-breaking simulation test function.The abrasiveness indexes of representative rocks in petroleum drilling formation are determined,the operation is easy,and the technical conditions are stable,the rocks in petroleum drilling formation are divided into six classes according to the abrasiveness index.
