OOne of the significant warplanes that entered service with Britain's RAF during the later 1930s was the Bristol Blenheim. For its time, this light bomber was of advanced monoplane design and all-metal construction and thus represented a major step forward in layout, performance and capability compared with the biplanes that it ultimately replaced.
