摘要

The electromagnetic field theory is characterized by electric and magnetic fields. By this theory the pure gravitational field is decomposed into electric and magnetic parts of the Weyl tensor. The evolution of the pure electric and magnetic parts (i.e., the pure E-M parts) of the Weyl tensor in a spacetime is the study of the 4-rank tensor. In particular we measure the components of the parts of the Weyl tensor of an observer u with a time like 4-unit vector. We have also attempted to describe the tensors that are the parts of the Weyl tensor with respect to u. Moreover, considering the eigenvalues of the matrix, we studied some cases of Petrov types with properties of the Weyl tensor.
