摘要

Growing the family farm business and expanding on what parents have built up is the theme for this series on family farming, which was first introduced in the March issue. This idea is not new, as most farm families build their farm businesses duringtheir lifetimes, in fact all businesses, farm or non-farm, must grow in order to survive. At some stage, the farm business will be transferred to other family members, particularly the younger generation, involved in the family farm business. The farm succession process and how this transfer or involvement occurs is very important for the continued growth of the family farm business.
