Polyaniline (PANI)/dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA) salt was synthesized by chemical oxidative polymerization reaction and its structural attributes, surface morphology, thermal stability, and electric properties were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermiogravimetric analysis (TGA), and DC electrical conductivity measurements. The results revealed the variation in surface morphology, thermal stability and microstructure properties is the reason for molecular ordering and electrical conductivity in these polymers.
