Production of fertilizer nutrients N at 1.322 million metric tonnes(million MT)and P2O5 at 0.432 million MT during February 2023 recorded increase of 28.1% and 14.4%,respectively,over February 2022.Among the major fertilizers,production of Urea and NP/NPK complex fertilizers increased by 29.7% and 46.5%,respectively,during February 2023 over February 2022.However,production of DAP and SSP declined by 4.3% and 3.9%,respectively,during the same period.Most of the NP/NPK complex fertilizers showed increase in production except 14-28-0 and 9-24-24 which showed negative growth during the period.Capacity utilization of N and P2O5 increase from 79.8% and 62.6% during February 2022 to 91.2% and 70.6%,respectively,during February 2023.
