A chemical method for detection of glucose content in the blood is proposed using layer by layer deposition, with silver as a substrate followed by the deposition of monomers and glucose oxidase. The study of various parameters like refractive index and current of the sensor is proposed. This will be done by studying the refractive index of each layer and the parameters that affect it and establish a relation between them and compare it with practical model. In this paper we have focused our attention towards silver and establish a relationship between the Refractive index and wavelength of light falling on it. This is done by using cubic spline method for linear interpolation which is coded in java.
