US DOE unveils support for advanced materials research

The US Department of Energy (DOE) is to fund the development of advanced materials such as perovskites. Included within a US$40 million package of funding supporting projects aiming to enhance and develop novel solar technologies in October, the DOE revealed it would support a range of research initiatives underway at US universities and research labs.
