FIXED POINT FOR FAMILIES OF COMPATIBLE AND WEAKLY COMPATIBLE MAPPINGS SATISFYING WEAK CONTRACTION CONDITION

In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems using the notions of both compatibility and weakly compatibility for two families of self mappings satisfying a weak contraction involving cubic terms of distance function in metric space. Our results generalize and extend the results of Kumar et al. (2021). Results are supported with relevant example.
