Unique Spill diverter design to mitigate Oil Spillage on Exhaust Components during Service fill

The presented document gives an overview of the invention of the Unique spill diverter. The diverter design is an out of box solution to the safety problem caused by the oil spillage during service fill. This design diverts the oil spilled during the service fill, away from the hot components, which reduces the chances of a thermal event in the engine compartment. The variation in the depth and length of the spill diverter can be varied across the engine platforms appropriately to reroute the oil flow in a specified direction. The simplicity and ease with which the design can be implemented across engines is an added advantage. Dimensions of the design can be customized as per engine, but base architecture remains same.
