A Parade was organized at Railway Protection Force, Regional Training Center, Subedarganj, Prayagraj to commemorate the iconic week being celebrated on the occossion of Swarnim Vijay Varsh. It is to be known that from 13 to 19 December, the Swarnim Vijay Varsh is being celebrated in the North Central Railway on the completion of 50 years of India's victory in the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and the emergence of Bangladesh as a nation. Various events are being organized in North Central Railway on the occassion. This parade was organized in the memory of the brave sons of India who won the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 by defeating the enemies through indomitable courage and might and played an important role in the independence of Bangladesh. Shri Rajiv Singh Bundela, Assistant Security Commissioner, Shri Ravi Kumar Siwach, Inspector, Shri Surjit Singh, Sub-Inspector Railway Protection Force / Regional Training Center / Subedarganj and 70 force members by offered floral tribute (Reeth) and salute was given by the armed contingent. After the parade, the Assistant Security Commissioner / Regional Training Center Shri Rajiv Singh Bundela motivated the members of the force present to take inspiration from the martyrdom of the brave martyrs. Earlier, on 25 November 2021, a grand welcome was also given to the Swarnim Vijay Mashaal at the North Central Railway Headquarters. The train of Mukti Bahini warriors of Bangladesh, which arrived at Agra Cantt station of North Central Railway during the current week, was also given a grand welcome. Apart from this, pictures of the memory of this war are being displayed on digital walls at all major stations of North Central Railway and announcement in this regard are also being made.
