After peaking in April/May 2022, European seamless products priced in Euros fell in successive months to September. Since then, lower-value J/k 55 (btc connection) prices have shown little change and remained static since November. The higher-value L80 (premium connection) price rose in November then also remained stable in the following months. As of January 2023, J/K 55 (btc connection) is at €1,800/tonne and L80 (premium connection) at €2,400/tonne. By contrast, linepipe prices have dropped steadily since also peaking in April/May 2022 with API 5L B declining again by €100/tonne in January to €1,600/tonne, but the higher-value API X65 remained steady at €1,880/tonne. Prices for Eastern European product showed mixed trends in January with J/K 55 (btc connection) down €25/tonne at €1,750/tonne but both L80 (btc connection) at €2,050/tonne and linepipe API 5L B X42 at €1,700/tonne were unchanged.
