摘要

Increasingly stringent environmental protection policies are putting increasing pressure on the steel industry to limit carbon emissions. Scrap ratio has a large impact on carbon emissions, but there is a lack of relevant quantitative studies. To improve the research in this area, carbon emission models of blast furnace and converter were established based on the principle of carbon balance and reasonable process boundary division. The effect of the scrap ratio on the converter material consumption and hot metal consumption is also considered, which can make the converter carbon emission model more reliable. And the production data of the 130t converter were collected to modify and verify the model. The results demonstrate that increasing the scrap ratio can effectively reduce the consumption of comprehensive converter materials. The carbon emissions per ton of steel from the converter and blast furnace decreased with an increase in the scrap ratio. When there is surplus heat in the converter, the scrap ratio increases by 5%, the carbon emissions per ton of steel in the converter can be reduced by approximately 7.1%, and the total carbon emissions per ton of steel in the blast furnace and converter processes can be reduced by approximately 6.11%.
