AN online resource targeted at Australian grain growers has been developed as a central point for information regarding plant breeding, seed commercialisation, varieties, royalties and additional related matters. There will be a special focus on the End Point Royalty (EPR) system and processes involved with collection of royalties. The website will be titled Variety Central and will be online at www.varietycentral.com.au from April 1. Currently, the level of acceptance and support of the EPRsystem is highly varied within the grains industry.
