I find it hard to understand what benefits there could possibly be? We are having much increased difficulty recruiting engineers, components are more difficult to obtain, and take longer to arrive, and so on. So far results - whether positive or negative - have almost been completely overshadowed by the Covid pandemic and the war in Ukraine. I do know that most of us received our covid vaccinations far earlier than our friends in the EU and my own company's sales to EU countries have increased since Brexit. The benefits were always going to be long-term anyway and those have mainly been pushed back by events. We need to be patient and learn to look beyond the immediate horizon. As for recruitment, this has little or nothing to do with Brexit at the level of skills we most need and the components shortage is world-wide.
