This paper is concerned with the interval estimation issue for switched systems subject to the bounded noise signal and disturbance signal. By virtue of the positiveness feature of the interval estimation error dynamics, the multiple co‐positive Lyapunov functions strategy is presented to build the interval estimators for the switched linear systems under the dwell‐time dependent switching signal. A new criterion is driven to ensure the boundedness of the interval estimation errors. This criterion can be checked by linear programming technique. In the end, a beneficial application of estimating the speeds of an engine model is offered to verify the estimation performances of the established interval estimation technique.
