Mixed results in March stats

An interesting set of drilling results were evident in the March quarter report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics which requires some delving into. When seasonally adjusted and compared with the December 2021 quarter, exploration expenditure increased by 5.5 per cent (+$43.6m) to $968.5m. When compared with the March quarter 2021, there has been an annual increase of $128.3m or 13 per cent.
