摘要

The idea is a Friction-Stir-Welding process variant that allows second heat source functionality without using additional heat sourcing equipment.It can be used for assemblies out of thermoplastic materials. It improves the option for thermal joining of these. The assemblies can be compact as out of typical additive manufacturing printers or huge as major component or final assembly parts.
