A warp knitting machine is specified with several bars, each of which has a longitudinal direction and a drive arrangement that acts on the bars transversely to the longitudinal direction and has at least one drive motor. For this purpose, the drive arrangement has at least one drive tappet, which can be moved in the longitudinal direction by the drive motor and which acts on at least one bar via a direction change gear. The object of the innovation is to eliminate or keep vibration problems small. Vibrations in the operation of a warp knitting machine can form a problem which, for example, can limit the operating speed of the warp knitting machine.
