NFR sportspersons made record to get achievement in the 87 AIR Athletics Championships being held at Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh Amlan Borgohain of N. E Railway won the Gold medal in the 100m run in the 87 AIR Athletics championship. He also broke the National record by clocking 10.25 sec (the earlier National record was 10.26 sec in 2016. Swapna Barman of N.E Railway secured the Gold Medal in Heptathlon event in the 87 AIR Athletics Championships being held at Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh. She also broke the meet record by earning 5717 pts (the earlier meet record was 5657 in 1999). North Central Railway won six medals in the recently concluded 87 th All India Railway Athletic Championship held at Raebarielly, Uttar Pradesh. The overall medal tally of North Central Railway was 3 Silver and 3 Bronze.
