The present invention makes the process of getting into and out of a vehicle with the use of a wheelchair or other mobility device as seamless as possible, eliminating the need for the user to control the loading/unloading process and the frustrations that go along with that manual process. It eliminates time spent waiting for certain steps to occur in the process and it also eliminates any additional effort or stress that the user may experience while loading themselves into a vehicle and getting settled in. The system accomplishes this by way of 3-way communication between the wheelchair user's smartphone, the vehicle, and integrated sensors located at the 4 corners of the wheelchair. The sensors provide the vehicle with the wheelchair's location relative to the wheelchair's desired home position (set by the user) and sets a vector course of directions such that the limitations of ramp position/vehicle position are captured and realized. The user is then brought to that home position automatically.
