A Taxus Bonsai Demonstration

Every tree has a story which is told by its features. Thus every bonsai tells the story of its encounter with nature and man. This is the story of a yew which I chose for my demonstration during the VII National U.B.I. Conference in Fermo. My bonsai are the results of complete assessment of all aspects of the tree to be worked on, preplanning and preparation of the material. But the bonsai process also requires a continuous personal pursuit of the arts, including poetry and sculpture, to create the desired form.
