A Stone Odyssey in China

摘要

China, a vast and geographically and geologically diverse country, has a long history of stone appreciation dating back many centuries. A small stone trade existed as far back as the Shang Dynasty 3200 years ago. The famous Lingbi, Taihu and Ying stones of China are well known. However, little is known in western countries of the extensive suite of beautiful stones that comprise the widespread culture throughout China.
