For the comfort of travel enthusiasts during summer holidays, a special train for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (Mumbai) has been flagged off from Malda Town station on 13 April, 2022 in presence of Smt. Sabina Yeasmin, Minister of State, Irrigation & Waterways, North Bengal Development, Self Help Group and Self Employment, Government of West Bengal, Shri Khagen Murmu, Member of Parliament, Shri Abu Hasem Khan Choudhury, Member of Parliament and Smt. Chandana Sarkar, MLA. This train caters to the need of patients travelling from Malda and adjacent areas of North Bengal to Mumbai for treatment as well as facilitates movement of professionals from West Bengal to the Business City of India, Mumbai.
