Autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs) are increasingly used in buildings. Examples are cleaning robols, delivery robots, social robots and more. The use for such AGVs is often limited to one floor. From a constructional point of view there are three different possibilities to move between two floors:1. Elevators / 2. Escalators / 3. StairsThe problem to be solved is that robots can autonomously use escalators to move between floors.
