The American Petroleum Institute (API) has released a new standard for use of coriolis meters in custody transfer of petroleum products and crude oil.Oil and gas operators have been using coriolis meters for many years in well testing and production applications,but their use as a custody transfer meter has been limited by thelack of an API standard.
