Asian urea not likely for India

INDIA may have to rely on Russia and the Middle East to meet the bulk of its 400 000 tonne urea import requirement. The Indian government recently announced plans to import this volume by 31 March 2001. This is the first time in two years that imports are being allowed into the country.
