HUALIAN TO ADD THIRD PTA LINE IN 2007

Hualian Sunshine Petrochemical plans to add a third purified terephthalic acid (PTA) line at its Shaoxing site in eastern China by the end of 2007,after bringing onstream its second line in 2006.A company source said the two new lines,each of 600 000 tonnne/year,would lift the company's total capacity to 1.8m tonne/year.
