An ingenious new building accommodates 50 new kindergarten places as well as the new main station of the Strasswalchen voluntary fire brigade. A glass roof plays an important role in bringing together two very different space requirements in one building. The two parts of the building are separate from each other and built with separate entrances, but are connected via visual axes and glass surfaces. Experiencing the fire brigade up close is a boon for the children, while they are kept at a safe distance to reassure parents.
