Russia’s Rosneft plans to increase the level of gas production in its portfolio as part of the energy transition process and hopes to be granted the right by the government to export pipeline gas to Europe, first vice president Didier Casimiro said Dec. 13. Rosneft is looking to export 10 Bcm of gas under a contract with BP to help provide additional supplies to the European gas market.
