Mining Algorithms Precedence List for Software Bug Classification

摘要

Software development methodologies have changed from static Waterfall Models to highly dynamic Rapid Application Development model; but the need to resolve bugs in the most efficient manner has remained constant. This lead towards the need of systems that can help to effectively record the changes in the states of the open bug as well as effectively aligning them to the most suitable developer, commonly known as Bug Triaging Systems (BTS). This paper aims at providing support in the development of Ideal BTS by creating a precedence list of various mining algorithms which are used in Software Bug classification. Hence, using the precedence list the BTS creators can enhance the capabilities.
