Japan's Crude Imports Tumble

Japan's crude oil imports tumbled in January, led by a decline in incoming cargoes of Abu Dhabi crude. The fall occurred despite anincrease in refi nery throughput. Japan's overall imports sank by 235,000 b/d from December to 2.72 million b/d in January, according to data from the Ministry ofEconomy, Trade and Industry (Meti).
