Primary Care Perspective

摘要

Effective prevention and treatment of child and adolescent obesity begins with scientifically sound recommendations by experts in the field. Next, those recommendations need transformation into clinically relevant programs that can be applied in various settings. The comments that follow are from the point of view of two primary care specialists who are in the trenches daily and want to see such programs develop to maximize the health of our pediatric patients.
