SOME COMMENTS ABOUT THE SITUATION OF THE STEEL INDUSTRY IN THE ARAB COUNTRIES

Once more, the Arab Steel Summit gave the opportunity to see what was, in the present world difficult economic context, the situation of the Arab Iron and Steel Industry. To cover it, we shall review : - the world situation, regarding the steel production and, especially, in the Arab World, - the corresponding aspects regarding the steel consumption - the trade which means, not only imports and exports but, also, prices, - and the consequences about technological as well as economical aspects.
