Ezz - Dkheilah: production of 4.5 million tons of finished products in 2005

Production of Ezz- Dkhei-lah of finished products amounted to 4,547 million tons in 2005 against 3,943 million tons in 2004, i.e., up by 15.3 percent. This figure reflects an increase in production of both the long and flat products. Production of the long products amounted to 2,906 million tons in 2005 against 2,519 million tons in 2004, i.e., up by 15.4 percent. Production of flat products during the same period of comparison amounted to 1,641 million tons against 1,424 million tons, i.e., up by 15.2 percent. This increase in production of all long and flat products was accompanied with the sales increase, especially in the domestic market. The sales in the domestic market reached 2,908 million tons in 2005 against 2,468 million tons in 2004, i.e., up by 18 percent.
