Two Subsidiaries of China National Petroleum Corporation to Build the Habshan-Fujairah Pipeline

Two subsidiaries of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC),China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (CPP) and China Petroleum Engineering & Construction (Group) Corporation (CPECC),have won a contract for the construction of a pipeline to link Habshan,in Abu Dhabi,to the emirate of Fujairah.International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) announced in February that it was negotiating with CPECC for the award of an EPC (engineering,procurement and construction) contract for this project (AOG,16 Feb.,2007).
