The price trend has started to reverse in the majority of global markets in January.The decrease is mostly observed in the manganese market, which influencedall the other markets last autumn. The reason behind the price softening is theMn ore market plunge. Some suppliers decrease quotes few times per month.February prices for manganese ore have been cut averagely by 22 monthon-month, which is the biggest reduction over the past five years.
